Atherosclerotic disease

1. Causes of atherosclerosis :

Complications develop atherosclerotic disease through research found associated with blood cholesterol rate of the body which in fact depends on nourishing diet and even some elements of "genes" (genetic factor).

Because cholesterol ratio related to diet atherosclerotic disease common in people of Western European countries because here people diet, with a higher proportion of fat. Several other diseases such as diabetes are closely related to the proportion of high cholesterol in the diet. Some patients have genetic characteristics have a high proportion of fat in the blood (high-fat genetic disease).

In addition to factors in the blood cholesterol rate, there are some other causative factors such as smoking, no regular physical activity, hypertension and obesity status.

The accumulation of fat in the blood gradually in layers of the artery walls due to fat and makes artery walls thicker, resulting in a narrowing of the arteries and impede blood circulation.

2. Atherosclerotic disease have symptoms ?

In the early stages of the disease often do not have symptoms clear. Gradually later, the symptoms arising due to better blood supply to the organs in the body is reduced by narrowing arteries slowly clogging the blood stream.

If the coronary arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle become blocked, it will appear gradually symptoms such as chest pain.

If a coronary artery becomes blocked completely, it will happen sudden heart attack deaths. Many stroke in the elderly is often due to an artery that supplies blood to the brain sclerosis and stenosis.

Where artery atherosclerosis in the legs is usually the first symptom is pain body type "cramps" because the blood supply is not sufficient in the leg.

If the disease is atherosclerosis, disorders associated with congenital hereditary fat, the fat can build up stagnant tendons make up the Department clearly visible under the skin.
